Our mission

Victim Support Isle of Man is an independent charity, our purpose is to assist persons affected by crime, domestic abuse and fatal road collisions.

About

We provide emotional support, practical help and information to Victims and Witnesses of crime. Victim Support works for the right of the Victims, Witnesses and their families and for greater awareness of the effects of crime.

We have trained support workers and volunteers who offer care, confidential support and provide advice to victims and witnesses of crime, their family and friends. Some people may need to receive emotional support for traumatic experiences many years after the event.

We also work closely with a number of external agencies including the Department of Home Affairs, who have recognised the importance of victims within the criminal justice system and are looking to us for increased input and support to ensure everyone is working together for the rights of the Victims, Witnesses and their families.
